Ontario – January 23, 2019 – Southlake Regional Health Centre is pleased to
unveil its new 2019-2023 Strategic Plan,
a road map for the next five years which will guide the organization to improve
the health of its communities and shape the future of healthcare.
“A new set of challenges will test our collective ability to meet the
needs of our patients and our community,” said Arden Krystal, Southlake
President and CEO. “I’m so excited to unveil the details of our new Strategic
Plan because it captures how we will address overcrowding, deliver clinical
excellence, and provide the best patient and staff experiences.”
Arden will unveil the new plan to staff, physicians, volunteers, and
the community at a Town Hall meeting today. The plan focuses on new
partnerships, quality and sustainability, and a dedication to provide the best experience
for both patients and providers.
The new purpose defines the impact the organization will achieve, and
the new values will guide staff and physicians to wrap care around patients and
families. At Southlake, the following values: always with compassion; the power of many; serve with
purpose; every voice matters; and the courage to think differently will empower
the organization to provide leading edge care – by your side.
Southlake would like to thank the
hundreds of staff, physicians, volunteers, patients, families and partners who
had their say in helping to create this plan.
