Cuddler Program

At Southlake, we have recruited and trained cuddler volunteers who are available each day to help give hugs and cuddles to babies when parents are unable to provide them with the hugs they need.

Our Cuddler Program has been featured in Canadian Living and on CTV Toronto.

We are also proud to be the first partner in the Huggies No Baby Unhugged initiative. Our experts shared their guidelines for cuddling and now Huggies is helping to start up cuddler programs at hospitals across the country.

Meet Sandra Payne, Southlake Nurse Educator and the lead on creating the cuddler program at Southlake.
